THE CHRISTMAS DANCE follows Sarah (Kristen Vaganos), a big-city magazine writer who's forced by her new Christmas-loving boss to write a column about the holiday as part of the magazine's new family angle. She has to finish her assignment back in her small town after her brother, Sherman Jr. (Miles Faber), is in a serious car accident. Our review: Although A 2ND CHANCE isn't a bad movie, it's not really very memorable. It has most of the elements seen in most sports movies (the underdog who overcomes obstacles, the glamorous rival who's not as confident as she seems), but it doesn't really bring anything new to the table. The acting also feels a bit amateurish -- especially ...Moose's ( Adam G. Sevani) grandparents give the down-and-out Sean a job at their dance studio -- but as a handyman, not an instructor. Desperate for another big break, Sean finds out about "Vortex" -- a VH1-sponsored dance competition in Las Vegas -- and convinces Moose to start a new crew. Together, Sean and Moose track down some former Step ....
